Type 2 Magwell

Description

Made to fit P226 SAO pistols that previously had none. Also a direct replacement for the X5/X6 factory magwell to allow higher capacity Mecgar magazines and most +2 bases. Works with 9mm and .40 cal.  Available in Gray (hard anodized), Black (hard anodized), or Sig Dark Gray Cerakote (Kotes of Anarchy). Available as individual parts, or complete kit. 1.625 Inches wide.

Compatibility

Please note that these will fit nearly all SAO P226 pistols. These are a direct replacement if your P226 has a factory magwell already. Please see below for your version:

Note that Type 1 has a spring clip that holds the magwell. Type 2 uses the strut holder to screw the magwell onto.

If your P226 frame looks like this, our magwell will not work without heavy modification.

If your P226 has the old style short strut, you will need to upgrade strut and spring to use the Type 2 magwell. Highly recommended either way! Please contact us if any questions!
